A jack of all trades is master of none, after all you can have a great touch UI or a great mouse UI, but not both at the same time. Theres even the ability to upgrade buildings to increase their effectiveness or possibilities (e.g. I'm just at a place where my charger is on its very last leg and the battery is failing, I also want to upgrade the RAM. If you wiped the hard drive and replaced the battery it's probably got another couple years on her.
